Maggi Chicken Winglets
Ingredients:
Chicken winglets 10 pieces
Maggi chicken 1 tablet
Onion ½ bulb
Green chili (kpakpo shito) about 10 pieces
Method
Clean winglets ensuring all feathers removed
Cut a ring around the knuckle-like end of the winglet close to the bone
With the help of the knife, gently push the flesh of the winglet to the bottom of the bone (do not let flesh come off the bone)
Blend the onion and chili, add Maggi tablets and season the winglets
Put on greased baking sheets and bake in a hot oven till cooked and light brown in color (stand on sheet with bone sticking up)
Note: Should not stay too long in the oven or it will dry up
Cover the bone ends with aluminum foil or paper frill and serve as a cocktail item or part of a meal
