Chilly Wings with Onion Rings
Ingredients:
Chicken wings (full) 6
Nido 200g
Flour 400g
Maggi chicken 4 tablets
Mill pepper 50g
Curry powder 50g
Onion 1 bulb
Oil for deep frying
Water 1 cup
Method
Mix flour, crumbled Maggi chicken, mill pepper and curry
Trim off the tip (or first small part) of the wing and discard
Cut into two on the joint to get a flat and rounded (winglet) wing pieces
Mix Nido with water and season with a tablet of Maggi chicken
Put oil on fire to heat
Pass wing pieces through seasoned milk and through the seasoned and spiced flour
Fry in very hot oil till crusty and reduce heat to allow wings to cook through
Drain and set aside
Peel and cut onion across grain into fairly thick slices
Pass through seasoned milk and seasoned flour and deep fry till golden and crisp
Serve wings and garnish with onion rings
